Floral and Lace for Spring

I don’t think anyone can go through the whole spring season without styling a pretty lace piece. In this post, i decided to pair the must have lace trend with the number one trend of every spring season – Floral.

It was somewhat cold on the day i wore this outfit so i decided to keep warm in a fur jacket which i consider trendy. I selected this piece because i believe it is stylish and light enough for a spring look and definitely warm enough for a chilly day.

My skirt was a gift, courtesy of an Asian online boutique CNDirect. They have the lowest prices I think I have seen so far and the skirt is of high quality too. Sincerely, I wasn’t too sure while placing the order because I thought it was so cheap but I am glad to say I was pleasantly surprised at the quality. The only problem I think a few people might have is with the shipping cost, there is no free shipping and it goes by weight. But if you do the calculation, the total price still gets to be much lesser than other places who might offer free shipping even for similar items.

How To Wear “All-Black” In Spring

Two simple ways to style an all black outfit without looking like a throwback to fall or winter is to show some skin – choose cut-out pieces, and add some studs to the clothing!
Spring is basically synonymous with colors, bright, floral etc but that doesn’t mean we can’t wear something outside of that theme. I am a die-hard fan(for lack of a better phrase) for all black outfits so it is an all year round look for me that defiles season. But I can’t go about looking like I was out of touch with the current times; I still have to stay on trend while being myself and living in my own style world. Thanks to this cut out (cold-shoulder), studded sweater, I get to achieve this.
It might be spring but it’s still a little chilly in NYC so I have to keep my jacket close.
