Happy Wednesday my dear friends. Stylediarybyosy is finally back for 2017, that was one long vacation (wasn’t really on vacation, just had so much going on) but I am so excited to be back and ready to share so much more in this new year.
Hello lovelies, hope you have been having a fabulous spring like I have. I have been feeling so fab that i decided celebrate my natural hair’s two year anniversary in the weirdest way – with a BIG CHOP.
The weather is so hot that it feels like it’s summer already, hence my outfit in this post – sleeveless top, pencil skirt and sandals. This is a very casual look as all i had to do that day was run errands. I have worn this top so many times before including once i wore it to the beach and thought i had destroyed it but after washing it a couple time, the stains came off; and this skirt has been featured here.

Happy weekend friends. First, let me just mention how excited i am about the coming weekends: I will be a year older next weekend and my blog will be a year old the weekend after.
Well for my post today, i am sharing an outfit inspired by one of Keke Palmer’s recent looks(photo below). I am currently working on some “celeb inspired” looks that i will be sharing soon but this one had to be shared now because i already had the top and the overalls packed in my luggage for my trip this weekend before i saw Keke’s post on Instagram. I just loved the look so much i decided to add on the other pieces to recreate it(luckily i had them in my closet) and i loved the look on me too.
This beautiful crop top has served me so well for i have worn it so many time (on the blog and off the blog). These shoes were a pure steal; i had gotten the shoes from Macy’s for a price cut of about 60% off, the week after they had it for 80% so i went back for a price adjustment and i eventually got the shoes for $20.
Here is a side by side of both looks and pose, heeheee i had to steal that too.
Crop top: Bisou
Plaid shirt: thrifted (Goodwill outlet)
Denim Overalls: Wet Seal
Sandals: Vince Camuto (Macys)
It’s finally spring time and my excitement knows no bonds so not even a snowy first day of a spring could damper my mood. So while everyone was celebrating the official start of spring in bright and beautiful colors on dry ground, we in New York were having a throwback moment hahaa. We had a beautiful snow fall. And I decided to celebrate in layers of borrowed oversize jacket over a cute metallic jacket, jeans and thigh boots. To pacify a part of my mind, i wore a pair of above the knee shorts instead of full on pants; it was supposed to be a warmer weather right?
Dinner time = happy time. The saying that “the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach” can also apply to ladies #I’mjustsayin lol
Anyways, I was in a hurry and would not have had enough time for pictures but thanks to the person behind the camera for just snapping away without waiting for me to step out and pose, I was able to get these lovely shots.
The early evening has the best lighting for vibrant colored pictures; the sun is not shinning too brightly but has just enough light to cast a beautiful glow on the skin :).
Now to my outfit – This was a match made by chance. I have had the top for so long but only wore it once. I just came upon it while reorganizing my closet recently. It so happened that I dropped the top right beside the skirt and that was how they met.
Crop top – let’s just say Osy closet
Skirt – Charlotte Russe
Denim jacket – Forever 21
Shoes – Target
Clutch – gift
